I showed my project proposal for this module and also my Status Sketchbook and Nancy Spero scroll.
Feedback:
I said I had been advised to chop up the Nancy Spero Scroll so there was only the two figures in the centre.  Simone said
- don't chop up
- do it 10 times and rework.
- observe evolution and write up.
Your body will bring out the unedited version.  Add, shift, evolve.  Follow a train of thought.
Status Sketchbook.  Reassessing values.  Danielle asked what the status of nudity here.  What gaze does it respond to?  I got the feeling she did not like it, but I am not sure why.  I am using the nude purely to show it is my female interpretation of the status events that have happened to me.  I am not sure what gaze it is from.  But then, I don't know a lot about the gaze.  I need to read around this.  Try Judith Butler, Gender Trouble.
Danielle mentioned the essay The Laugh of the Medusa by Helene Cixous (pronounced Ellen Sisou).
Gareth mentioned Ubermemschnese - supermen.  Refers to the maturity of society where it goes beyond seeing all relationships being a means to an end.  Derived from Plato and Littgenstein.  Relates to Marx and what you can get from someone; how to view the capital they can get from you.  Entrophy.
